posting just to say another post is spam, is also spam, even if the original post is indeed spam.

Admittedly it is also spam to post for the sole purpose of explaining that it is spam to make a post for no reason except to call another post spam.

To you folks not in on the joke, it started in IRC as part of the usual babble of insanity (gotta love that). Elmo came up for some reason (?) and it went downhill from there. The following is the statement that brought the cult of SS to the forums:

And there you have it folks. The big secret. In remembrance of so many folks coming together to be a random annoyance, let us post our sigs here....and change those annoying ones back to something resembling normal. (or as close as you can get) :)

And for those that aren't getting the joke,  last season, the producers of Sesame Street decided that they would have cookie monster eat fruit instead, becuase our kids are getting fat.  Cookies are now a "sometimes food."

Bah I say.  A cookie monster not eating cookies, when will it end?
