Can't connect to server

I'd like to try out PlaneScape though I can't connect to the server.
Yes I'we checked that UDP port 7777 is open.
Doesn't work anywayz.

turn the firewall off out right.
bypass your router.
and you will connect... if the server is running, and it usually is.

but shouldn't you be asking this in the placescape forums rather then here?

Oh! Sorry! I thought this would be the right place since there where similar questions in here.

A mix up of names perhaps?

If you meant this game, the problems befor entering the game area of the forum would be the right spot.  Also, it's PlaneShift, not planescape.

what i ment was... this game is planeshift rather then planescape...

and judging by the other thread...
you still can't connect... have you updated the game?

And ehm: Read all the stickies properly, maybe you didn't apply the patch and didn't run the updater afterwards.

give us more info. Are there any error messages, did you follow closely the install instructions located in the sticky, etc?

One big question, did you install the patch?
