In the case that no submissions are of the quality we want to see in-game. As it stands now, this isn't likely to happen - some entries are looking very lovely.

So what is it, that the art team has in mind for all of the losers?

Aren't you glad you listened to me and kept it open now?     Feel free to call on my abilities of logical thinking any time.  Sometimes I wonder what you would  do without my guidence.  ......  no? (The responce I assume to get would be a  from you. )

And for maybe the 1 or two people that have wondered where I have been...Booted up my computer Monday, during the POST, it stated my hard drive was about to fail.  It was dead by 11 a.m. that day.  And I'm currently on backup until the new one arrives.  And to take one last joking jab at Karyuu,  this is why we keep spares.  Make sure you have one for the next scavenger hunt ok?  Ok, I'll shut up now.

in case somebody did not notice, see the changelog of the latest ps version, now there is support for monster varations, which means.. i think, multiple skins for the same monster. and for sure, the rat is the best monster to do that first

In my excitemnet I whipped up 2, no 3,  skins and submitted them. I should have practiced first. I think I have gotten better.. a little

IF we have some winners, which I don't doubt! how soon can we expect to see these new breed(s) walking among us? I mean.. it is only textures... it can't take that long?

and, will our old friend the black rat still remain with us? or will they be completely supressed by the new breed(s) of super rat?

the deadline is the 195h does that mean all submissions must be in by the 18th or can we submit on the 19th (stil finishing my entry)

The contest will close at 11:59 PM GMT, Tuesday, September 19th. Calculate what time that is in your timezone and plan accordingly :} We're not going to be counting anything submitted after the deadline.

After the contest ends there is still judging to do, so don't expect results immediately :} A couple of days or more to sort through the entries and give Talad time to decide will probably be needed.

As for when exactly you will see these textures in game, I don't have that information - but you'll most likely find out when the winner is announced.
