If the winner is to be used ingame, they wont show it to the public.(Talad is very strict on that one) Once they choose the winner, all others will probly be shown :)

Well I do think it would be fun.  Maybe once we have the results posted we could vote on a few categories of the non-winner. Maybe... best dressed rat? Or scaries? I don't know, maybe someone could come up with categories that are less lame.  Either way it might be fun!

So we have an official winner(s),  and a "People's Choice"     and ditto on the  "dont post mine".. at leas not that 3rd one wich was auto disqualified.. I hope

Er.. are these "don't show my entry" comments serious? Either make that clear here or send me a PM, just to be sure :] Don't want to have confusion - and I hope that everyone's entries can be shown, really. Those who made entirely new textures did a good job.

Karyuu, I believe Baldur was referring to LARAGORN's post just before about how the winner won't be shown until after its in game since Talad doesn't like to show off in gme stuff bfore it is publicaly released.

I believe Baldur was trying to imply that they were wishing it wouldn't be shown, becuase that would mean that they won.

Not sure though, but thats what I got out of it.

Karyuu, as mentioned I submitted 3, show them all if you like, I'm shure I'll survive the "constructive critisim", but technically, my 3rd, a terrible attempt at a reptilian rat, is not a valid contest entry.

Electronically works just as well - snail mail isn't necessary for such things.

The texture is for PlaneShift and PlaneShift only. Those of you who somehow worry that it's going to be used for something else without your knowledge should put your fears to rest.

What I partly meant was exactly what I said "Don't show my texture" but coming to think of it the constructive would be good even if it was a killer, and i'm sure i'll get hanged ^_^

I didn't know what my texture looked like because I had no access to viewmesh because of a corrupted file from download(which I tried several times but to no avail). So I sent it because it looked fairly good, and I was impatient to see what they would think of it.

Now, Minetus had viewmesh and he offered me to show it to me. I was horrified by the lack of detail which I thought, in my mind, I had.

Next time i'm going to submit a much better texture and work it from the start.

At any time if you have something not working, the community's here for you :] I could've sent you the install file I had backed up, or the already-installed-folder-of-stuffs. If anyone's in need of anything, never worry about asking for it.

hah yea! I'm not confident yet!... karyuu as you may have noticed? (maybe you didn't seem them all??) mine definately wasn't 100% original... so untill I spruce up my texturing abilities, lets keep mine a secret eh? :whistling:
