The Dragon Ratters Guild is a tight unit of dragon hunters.

A new guild dedicated to hunting down dragons and their familiars.

Members are banned from all things dragon. No active association with dragon kind except in the act of killing is allowed.

Dragons are malevolent, untrustworthy, sneaky, egotistical flying rats who kill brave adventuring souls just to feed their insatiable greed.

We bow to no fictitious gods. Believing that all  peoples of Yliakum will build their own glorious future.
We never run from a fight. Peace must conquer all and if not alone then within the gauntlet of battle.
We always uphold the law. To offend another is to offend oneself.

Beware! dragons are very devious. Having been hunted by the Dragon Ratters over the years they take to disguising themselves
with very strong magic. They can appear as any creature they wish, undetectable, hidden. Only the dragon behaviours shows through.
We will hunt any creature showing dragon traits. Protecting the land from their deadly greed.

Hey I like rats!! and egotistical is not necessarily a bad thing...

But Rayven is right..dragons are on the same list as vampires....don't exist
 so if you lot are hunting dragons...I want whatever your drinking!!

Greetings, and welcome to PlaneShift!  I've a few comments to hopefully help you on your way.  There are some important things to consider.  One of which is that there will never be any Dragons in PlaneShift.  Don't ask why - Anyways this does not preclude you from starting a dragon hunting guild.  It only means that all dragon hunting will need to be done in role play.  Also how long have you been a part of the PlaneShift community?  If you are new, while there is nothing wrong with starting a guild right away, I'd suggest that you first start by joining another guild.  Participate and see how it is run, think about what the guild you joined does well, and what you think  you could improve upon.  This will help you when you decide how to create and structure your guild.  Think if it as preparation

If you decide to continue to do a dragon hunting guild then good luck to you!  You will probably have a bit of difficulty but as guilds such as the Dragon Council have shown, guilds with the name "Dragon" in them can be sucessful

Congratulations! Your guild has fulfilled its goals! As you might or might not be aware, there are no dragons or dragon familiars in the world, so there is nothing for you to hunt! Isn't that great?!

I disagree.  I think it is ok to do so long as you aren't running around screaming dragon are comming dragons are comming or otherwise interupting the RP of people who are RPing with PlaneShifts regular settings. 

We've have people rping Vampires, Entire government forms which PS will never see, etc... There is nothing wrong with it as long as you aren't forcing it upon people who aren't willing participants. The game is about RP.  How you RP is up to you.

They won't be shut down if they don't interfere with others RPing.  Vampires were running around biting people.... that was sort of annoying.. I got bit once...

Why not go right ahead and create a vampire dragonhunters guild, which uses guns and lightsabers, are led by Jesus himself and control a power coming from an intergalactical energy field called "the force"? Ohh yeah I forgot that the ancestor of the bloodline should be talad's father of course, as well as the whole guild being some kind of super Ajah haveing power over all Aes Sedai...

Really, ..., I strongly think that even at this state the PS setting is big enough for guilds to base on it, instead of randomly pulling stuff from other settings.

Edit: Yes. I do like to be an ass if it comes down to guilds. Ask Petilence about that.

Why are you using the word 'dragon' if what you are 'hunting' isn't even remotely like a dragon? Where does that word come from, for you? Why use it? Change it to something else and you get a lot less irritated people.
