...I agree, but for entirely different reasons.. I think that the combat skills should be balanced relative to each other, as well as the physics and movement tweaked before adding board games..  Keeping NPCs and quests working would be nice too, although I don't know how much work has been done on that while I was on hiatus....

yes and no .. did you always wondered why we have more than one department in PS? .. the point I mean is .. there might be a developer that is skilled in one part .. as example server scripting .. another one is master skileld in implementing some nifty things at the client .. another has great effort in balancing the system .. so after all there might be one dev that (maybe because he once wrote those stuff in his spare time independent of PS) has a small game that may be nice to have there even just to test another plugin or interface part of the game but he is not skilled in balancing some other part .. so why should he just sit down and wait implementing his stuff?

another point is .. balancing is something you will do at last in game or if the game shifts out in a too big way .. in other way it would mean to balance it each day for new and balancing each single step if you implement just a single item .. this would be an endless work .. so why balance a system which you know will be unstable for a while and while you know that you will even implement a lot of other stuff afterwards that needs rebalancing? This time could be used to implement first the other stuff.

Even if computers work with bits and bytes the reasons are not always just black and white!

.. just be patient .. I guess the Devs will have some nice new things for us

I have to admit I had hoped the bug that RayvenD and Zhai had mentioned would be sorted with this update.. because falling off the world and having to run all the way back from Oja can be a pain!! 

Still.. good luck with the updates, sounds like a few interesting additions.

This is a good point, I know the devs don't ever release information about things to come, but seeing as we know there is an update coming, would there be any chance of knowing if it is a case for the updater of do we have to get a whole new download (if so the bandwidth usage will mean we all wait forever for the game)

Last update took me about 45 minutes to get, and i started seeding instantly, within the first minute of seeding, we had about 7 more seeders, within the next 20 minutes, we had about 30 or more seeders.

This won't take very long for the average computer user, but those on Dial up will wait a bit longer than others.

If you have DSL or higher speed, your fine, you'll get it in 1 or 2 hours TOPS!.
