Ok i pretty much and drew something and realised i had weirdly improved since the last time i drew ages ago. I was trying to be origanal but the end one just ended up looking like a dragon even though it wasnt what i was aiming for.

i think that the head needs a bit more detail... the arms are missing some elbows and muscles and the legs is missing some detail in muscles and all thoose limbs parts as you said ;)

Else main structure is good :D

You need to research a little on structure and such.  I'm learning myself that Animals and Humanoids are tottaly different to draw.
I think animals are kinda harder somtimes.

I like your work i can see you have some good ideas. :D

It is really worth studying anatomy!  Knowing your anatomy makes things a lot easier so find yourself a nice book and do a little bit of reading.   ;)

Also note that shading is very important as it gives your picture shape and dimension.  Take a look at the following two links for a basic summary of shading:

http://www.learn-to-draw.com/members/drawing-basics/0117.htm
http://www.learn-to-draw.com/members/drawing-basics/0119.htm

Hope that helps.  :P

@dying_inside: I actually find people harder than animals.  I think this is mostly because animals are streamlined and anatomically make sense where as people are… bulky and very clumsy  ::| and that’s how I feel when I draw them too!

I second what Kiraki said.

Nothing is more difficult then to draw a humanoid, where an animal would take one hour humanoids can take days. I think it lies in our efforts to make it look like ourselves. I've heard that selfportraits are among the hardest to draw.

Hahaha, I could never draw a self portriat.
I think I find animals harder to draw  because I have only really just started to explore them, where as I have been drawing humanoids for years. Granted that its only over the past year or so that I have really developed and come a long way. But I havnt had the same experiance with drawing animals like that.

That last picture is awesome, very good.

I don't see any flaws in it, but again i'm not a professional artist.

I'd say you're getting better.

They are nice....
I cant give much advice myself because I dont really know animal anatomy, or at least how to draw it.
As for butterfly's i dont know  what butterflies are supposed to be drawn like either...

But so far I think they are nice.

Just a scrap of paper with an idea on it more than a drawing:
