Where did Carkaras go!

yeah...so where did he go? ???

i didnt want to post this as bug because it's probably not, but i really want to know wat ahppened to him.

I wan to kick his little bony ass :devil:

This is only a theory, but:

When the npc server gets reset, the Carcaras re-appears on his rock pillar. As long as you kill him on the spot he dies and respawns as normal.

But - occasionally I have used him for target practice with a missile or freeze spell (and I guess others do too). If you don't kill him fast, he tries to move towards you, then falls off the edge. The fall doesn't kill him, but on the ground, he is out of range, so the spells won't kill him and you can't even target him with /target next npc - he's out of range.

That's my guess

A guess that's quite correct, many a time I went down into the abyss of the abyss and fished him out :)

what bait did use you mean, as my hunting toys were taken away with my GM badge that day i left...

anyways, a prompt hop off the bridge (GM invincibility mwuahaha) a /target next npc, look for the target icon glowing.
if that didnt succeed, I used the command to list all the npc's in game by their ID, cant remember it now, as it's only one carkarass, easy to find.
once found (by either glowing pinky ness, or teleporting) I stabbed iti n the face with a dagger, at the time it had 54 slash and dealt a quad digit of damage x]

but for you mortals.. eh.. I guess you should start off hunting using the /petition hunting toy

A GM can run the command /teleport me Carkarass and find wherever the bugger is, if it is indeed around right now. As there has only been one of them so far, you really can't go wrong :]

Actually before a few updates ago there was a drop off point where fall damage wouldn't implement, lots of newbies got lost int he abyss, but for a long time, I explored the abyss, and often found the carkass down there...

Ah ha!, a mortal challenges the gods! :sorcerer:

Gods? no no, not the Gods.

you're challenging the Demi-Gods, these are the subordinates of Talad and Laanx! very few mortals ever get to see the Gods themselves, let alone challenge them!

the place where u get to the abyss without dieing is the place where the drop is. if u miss the platform u fall but dont ge tany damage

Talad once stepped on my paw ...he was so wrapped up in his new (at the time) groffel that he didn't notice :/

Oh, Oh, I have proof! Look! This screeni was actually taken at the time of the event! I didn't get the paw stepping but I got him running off after it ......
