Problem with Levrus @ Magic Shop...

I say "hello Levrus" and he greets me, then I say "[ stuff ]", then "[ stuff ]" But he doesn't understand. I ask him for a quest and he gives me the Ring quest, but I want [ another ] quest. Any help?

NPCs may not always offer you the quest you want, so you might have to keep asking. Also, some quests may have prerequisites - so you'd have to do one quest first to get the one you want.
