I vaguely remember a show that was about trains or something similar to what you posted that had Ringo as a tiny conductor or something....  good days of youthness.

thomas the tank, yeah - that had ringo narating

apparently i picked up his scouse accent from watching it and used to say "coaches" in the same way.
