The main chat is to be fully customiseable, it just isn't at that point yet.

Tell Private tells.
Guild Guild chat.
Group Group chat.
Auction Auction messages.
System System messages.
Help The help channel.

This is how the chat system works right now and there are no tells nor guild messages on the main tab. If you get them on the main tab, then either you haven't updated the game or updater mirrors aren't updated. I can't confirm the later because my official Windows client stopped working long time ago.

I'm not in a guild, but last time I got a tell it didn't show up on my "main" tab.  I'm using the windows .16 download, then running updater from there.

Ber, I'm not doubting you that "main" is supposed to be as you say.  But, I get "everything" in "main" on my fully updated linux client.

And please keep /roll in the main tab as we use the /roll to rp "Tripps" and "Blood and Bones".  Thank you!

I guess you have to poke Xordan then and ask him to update the Linux client

Hmm, i am using windows, and guild/tells/etc are not in my main tab. Maybe it is wrong in the Linux client only or maybe also in the Mac client?
The main tab more or less shows everything that my character can see/feel/hear, except some details like "you eat the apple and feel better" and mining results are only in the system tab (so my character doesn't know if he had success mining ), but else the system works.
