You could find someone else to give that clue or something.

Or kill his murderer and have Nurahk bring him back to give the clue.

Or go to the death realm, talk to him and leave him dead :D

Ahem. RP adapted... though I don't think Coneitic will like it. *evil grin*

As to the missunderstanding, there was none, as Untar was just turning around to tell the guards (Jefecra) that Coneitic had taken something from him that was not for taking. This RP continues, as I weave everything in my plots. It is not the end of the world....No wait, it is. You -could- go try to find him in the DR to talk....but ask Nurahk how that turns out. ;) He will not come back to liife while his killer is still in the 'living world'. *wink wink*

Funny you'd say that, UTM... Zhai got a note after talking to Kaerli and Grunn from the city guard about the murder of the bard. She didn't know him in life but this unexpected message makes her rather interested in going after the killer. Here it is:

[The note reads:]

Dear Zhai:

Fear you never see me in public, for it will be your last sight.

Sincerely,

Con

I did run into him later that night and well, he ran away but it seems he followed someone's loud advice, as someone screamed something like "Remember the plan"... A fellow ranger told me he was possitive it was Janeous' voice.

[just so we are all clear i robbed him and he didnt know and he couldnt stand it ooc so he kept complaining and saying guard watched me do it and they were coming to get me and he would tell everyone and mind you this is mostly in ooc he got mad not IC cuz in IC he wouldnt have known. so i challenged him to keep him quiet about what happend IC considering he had no idea IC and he accepted and i killed him]

just so we are all clear... the man started a plague to kill you all, and for killing him you are all mad? i see everyone is blind to the fact that one kill is dead wrong but unleashing a disease that kills hundreds, maybe thousands is ok and something to do..... you all may try to find me and murder me in the name of this mass murderer, but good luck i cannot be found...

*shakes his head at the fool*

Untar did not start the plague. He is just one of my characters. I play many.

Go talk to the two NPCs who were standing a stone's throw from where you robbed Untar, one of which was facing right at you. Ask them who they are. Untill then, you are still a fool and a criminal. As to the ooc, that was in brackets, and trying to explain what you were doing wrong, and that the guards would have seen it. And killing a man right in front of everyone just because he would report you to the guards is right? On what planet? You played the role of a theif, then a murderer. I am just playing along with that, as are all the people after you.

So hide, little menki, hide.

Expecting no consequences from your IC actions is bad RP. If your character is reckless enough as to commit a crime right in front of the guards you have something coming. And that has nothing to do with OOC. Your character is a fugitive at the moment. I hope you stick with it, otherwise next time you try to RP that you mug or rob anyone, they will just ignore you and walk right through you.

There are more than enough guilds out there who claim to protect the citizens of Yliakum, call upon them, if they truly believe in their cause they will help.

alright, heres the deal, if you all think im guilty come get me, try to find me. it will not be easy, i stand by that i am innocent but if i am hunted like this than you all can try to seach me out. It may bring resolution it may bring nothing, but if you think you have the skills come forth
[if i am killed i will retire my character and that will be the end of me and the rebirth of thi so called friend untar]
it is funny that someone with a clue to stopping the plague would keep it secret and not spread the word as quickly as he could, but no matter... catch me if you can

Actually, he was about to tell Jeferca about something he saw last weekend when he ran into you. His head is in the clouds most of the time (as most poets are), so he had not even thought of it until then. I don't ask that you retire your character, just stick to what you have played. As a criminal, you would stick to the shadows and be wary of the guards. Your face is known, so you could not go in public places. I know this...because the character who -is- behind all this is a wanted man as well, and I play him exactly that way.

Other options are to have a GM change the name and play as a new character -OR- (this is the hard one) play that your character has been sent to prison for a while (two weeks absence would be fine) then come back as a 'reformed' man. Not that it would have to be true, you just have to convince others that you are.

I only ask people to follow through with the roles that they start. I would recommend the reformed role, as that would be the most challenging and fun.
