How can I change back to the previous version of chat window?

How can I change back to the previous version of the chat window?

I am playing almost blind.

If I am in a busy place, like the arena or in front of Harnquist, and I read a /tell and reply, I will completely miss whatever has happened next to me, because it has long since scrolled past, by the time I get back to MAIN.

And since I am juggling frantically to deal with that, I can never see when someone on my buddy list logs in or out, or read /auction at all.

Please.

I am begging.

(ps- Is there a fix yet, for the bug that stops you from running when you attack or cast a spell?)

I'm not aware of any way to change it back, but in the future it shall be fully customiseable so you do have that working for you.  Guess you'll just have to try to live with it for now?  Here's looking to the future.  :)

Yep. No going back. Your stuck with that till the new version comes out. You do get used to it after a while though. (Well, I did.)

I spent weeks trying different strategies to maximize throughput, before I started this thread.

This has nothing to do with getting used to a new configuration.


Interfereing with chat, even a little, is bad for RP.

Something as small as whether you use ( ) and [ ] around OOC chat, makes a big enough difference, that there have been hundreds of posts mentioning or discussing it.

This is a whole lot worse.

I was waiting for someone to say something besides me. I completely hate this new chat system, I need an All tab, or at least a separate chat tab instead of having it merged with system, then having another system tab just to waste space...Seriously, we have two system tabs, but none that are just for chat. It's annoying >.>

Edit: Neko, why do you always post links to other threads, that have links to another thread? You connected this with mine, and mine with Peacer's. What are you helping with by simply making us look at other threads with the exact same things posted in them? =/

Yes, I also miss the all tab. And something that does annoy me about this new chat, is say your fighting something. Your watching in system, and main keeps flashing up telling you that hes 'Nearly dead'

I already know that :/

Conclusion:

People not busy, chat system is nice

People busy, Chat ssytem is hell, tournaments made even more impossible thank god :)
