normal human armor screens

ok so the game is still downloading, and im wondering what a couple of normal human (yilian or somthin) armors look like;
does anyone have a few screens of basic med and heavy armors?         ty in advance!

Welcome to PlaneShift and the boards :]

You can buy two armor types at the moment:

Light Armor - Leather


Medium Armor - Chainmail


The last category that isn't fully available to players yet is platemail:

All except the Klyros, whose skeletal structure cannot bear the weight. Chainmail is the most protection they can have.

player's don;t get to use a full set of chainmail yet ;) let alone see plate mail, the screenshot Karyuu put up of platemail is one of the Hydlaa guards at the north gatem to us mortals he's just wearing normal clothes ;)

I've only seen platemail torso on Darkmoon (see "screenshots!" thread)

though I'm fully aware a GM/dev with the right access can help themselves to a full set and various other goodies ^_^

it'd be nice to see some of this, as I'm sure it's going to turn up soon ;)

I saw a guy there with it yeah, he also had a spikey shield (forgot it's proper name, it was the larger one GM's used to have) and a Galkard, but last time I looked around the fortress he was gone, a Dermorian and Ynnwn were standing in the place he was.

Ohhhhh, the platemail looks friggin awesome!!!!!  :woot: This is my first viewing of it. I can't wait till it is implimented. Nice work Dev's.

we can't :] just the torso and arms (which for some races is unskinned still)

but you have to remember! there's no point wearing heavy armor if you're better at using light armor ;)

It also helps to scale shots down from that initial large resolution, as it has a smoothing effect. Even without scaling down though the results are rather nice. #2 from below hasn't been scaled:
