Hello to all! Some of you may know me...some may not....I am Tablin Warcrusher. I have started my guild known as the Marauders of Boreas! I started this guild in memory of my fathers people. Here is how it began......
..........The History......
Long ago there was a small village that consisted of all races. It was one of the only mixed race villages of its time. The people of this village were known by other nations as the Marauders of Boreas…meaning “Raiders of the North wind”. By no means were these people really raiders…..they were called this because other nations believed that the Marauders were invading their way of life. Many nations, of that time, believed that villages should consist only of one race. After many attempts to scare the Marauders away from this land…the angered nations grouped together and paid off a group of rogues to destroy the village and all those who occupied it.
……….The day of the invasion…………..
A young dwarf, at the age of 15 or so, named Tablin, was playing War with other children in the Marauder village when all of the sudden the watch towers belles began to ring louder than ever. The watchmen began to shout “…By the gods of Laanx…..a small army of rogues are heading our way, weapons drawn!” Just as Tablin found his younger brother, Aoro, the weak wooden gate of the small village collapsed. Men wearing pure black flooded the village. Tablin and Aoro scrambled to find their parents. Minutes went by and they found them not. Finally Tablin decided that he and his brother would take refuge behind a small barrel near the back wall of their small fortification. Not long after hiding…the boys father came into view…he had tears in his eyes. “Their you are. I thought ……I…may have lost you too” . Aoro quickly replies “Where is Mother?” The father looks down and does not reply. Just then..a couple rogues running threw the village spotted the two boys and their father. The rogues began to run toward them. The father quickly pulled out his pick axe and began swinging at the wooden wall behind them. With in two or three swings the hole was large enough for the boys to fit through. “Run…run south ..don’t stop until you come to a city.” said the father shaking. The boys tried to resist but the father forced them through the opening. Just before the boys began to run ….they looked back to see their father smile at them as he un-sheathed his sword from his side ..then ran at the forwarding rogues. The two boys turned and ran….until they came a place known as Hydlaa.
……………..The last Marauders…………
Many years passed after the day of the invasion. The two boys, who are now grown and strong, live happily in Hydlaa. After many seasons with a guild known as The Way of the Hammer….Tablin decided it was time to revive the old ways he once knew. He was going to bring back the Marauders of Boreas and introduce them to the city of Hydlaa.
We follow the 3 laws of Boreas...1. Look at everyone as equals. 2. Strengthen the weak and weaken the strong. 3. Come to the aide of any whom ask.
And I have brought it to the city of Hydlaa...we are 9 members strong and I plan on it to grow even more. If you are interested in joining contact me Tablin, Mickeal, or Aoro ingame.
P.S. Our nine ranks do not follow the ladder ranking system....They are more like jobs..... and all are equal to the other. The only thing different in them are the council and the leader..They make the final decision on topics. (but they do ask the opinion of members).
