Sorry, had to make a new thread today. Not getting any traffic on my old one anymore...
Anyways, Karyuu, if you happen to come by here, I've discovered something rather facinating.
Now, as you know I've been having text issues with the login and char creation screen. On my old thread, I kinda made a new reply today about something that happened, but so far no one seems to have noticed. I've started up the game, and closed it improperly using CTRL+ALT+DEL, had a few error complaints, yada yada, the usual. Then when I tried running the game again in Windowed Mode (with 800 x 600 Resolution on both my desktop as well as the Setup option for the game), I've had a series of errors (the type where you click either Close or Details, and then it asks if I wanted to save a log of the error, yes or no, I kept clickin Close and No, it was annoying, it did it quite a few times). After all those errors I've went through, the game was starting up, and at the top it said the game said I had no Hardware Acceleration (funny, cause I know I DO! Errors must've screwed it up). So the game's loading, that once pretty smooth picture was abit pixelated due to no acceleration. Then, when it loaded, I was shocked and in awe...cause for some STRANGE and WEIRD REASON, the text at the login screen was PERFECTLY READABLE!!!

The downside is I wasn't able to play the game lol.

So, what does this tell me? Well, through some experimentation with my Graphics Card (btw, found the advanced options for my graphics card, it has 32MB just so ya know), I've lowered the acceleration twice (tried once, didn't work, but second time was a charm). Anyways, after rebooting with the new acceleration setting, I tried the game again with the same resolutions. Amazed and astonished, the text is FIXED!!!

The down side? I can't see character graphics or any textural details if any.

I was able to READ the char race names for once though, but whenever I clicked em, all I saw was like say...the lower half of a person's body (a pair of legs, and no bod, ouch).
Anyways, sorry for the really long post. I just thought I'd bring this to your attention and I wonder if I've gotten closer to solving this issue. I'd like to hear any suggestions anyone has to offer.
