Fatal Error!

I installed th elatest NVidia drivers and got: fatal error! crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl( Error opening Graphics20 context :'(
so i installed all the rocomended things, glibc and wat not, and the re-intalled the game O--)
the only thig that went wrong was that the uninstaller didn't intall correctly but i got the game working without it. again, the same error :'(

I have the XFX 5200 256mb graphics card too, I instaleld the latest drivers recently (as a test dummy to help Jjjairr get back in the game!) and it worked perfectly fine.

not sure what help that woudl be though as i'm on a different OS :\ just know the card works

should i mention that i installed the drivers from the software installation program in mandriva, or are they the same as from the NVidia site?

I couldnt say to be honest, i didnt look at what section this was, i just clicked out of curiosity of your problem, saw the same gfx card as mine and posted >_>.

a linux zealot will come along shortly and help you out, I'm sure, they tend to stick together xP

If you installed from mandriva's own repository, you might've gotten the open-source Nvidia drivers, which are very bad.

Maybe this guide will help you?

I need to find kernel source 2.6.12-19, but i can't find it anyware, does anyone know where i could find it?

You can get the source of kernels on www.kernel.org (What's in a name...), but what do you need it for?
The guide I mentioned doesn't require a specific kernel :)
