Redo the Ylian Model

Ok, I don't know what happened to the Ylian model, but overtime it's just gotten far too ugly. For one thing, the Ylian's "hair" was supposed to be some sort of hat (since it was originally colored the same as their clothes, yellow), and the facial expression (Blonde 1) had a moustache on it. Now, it's made so that hat is actually their hair, and moustache, which makes it look really weird because he now has two moustaches. Also, his hair's just...flat, which doesn't look right at all. It should be redone to actually look normal, or at least give them some real hair and less ugly facial expressions. They used to look good up until someone decided to turn that hat of theirs into their actual hair.

But it doesn't look like hair. The way it was colored back when I first started playing, it looked like a hat-ish thing. Now that it's hair, it just looks weird. I mean, look closely at the default face. It has TWO moustaches now.

I don't see the two-moustache thing happening - there's a moustache and a beard. Perhaps take a screenshot of what you're referring to? And I agree that a lot of the models can be made better, but is there really any point to asking for it? We've already said many times that nearly nothing is final at this point :>

You're using the wrong facial expression. Look at Blonde 1, which was the original before the new ones were added. He has a blonde BEARD (accidentally said moustache before) under his other beard. But besides that, his hair doesn't even look normal. It almost looks like a wig now. The other races are perfect, but this one's just ugly when you look at its face.

But that other beard doesn't even show. I think the shape of his hair is fine - the texture can be made better, and it would look nicer if the transition from face to hair was smoother, but I certainly don't see it as a wig or a hat.

Look closely at the mousetache/beard area. Oh, and one more thing. He doesn't have ears.

EDIT: I guess I did mean moustache. I was going to post this thread sooner, but I had computer problems and had to reboot so I forgot where the hair was.

I agree, its plainly obvious theres a blonde mustach under the brown one...

But this is just a problem with the blonde 1 model.

But the blonde one was the original. If those other expressions hadn't been added recently, I would have more of a case here. But this is what they worked with, so knowing that they already had a moustache on the Ylian, then turning that hat-ish thing into his hair, seems more like a bug and makes it looks messed up.

Or look at it this way. Maybe it was meant to change but you just got to used to seeing it the same color as the clothes. When it did finally change it seemed weird.

Yes, it did. But it looks like it was supposed to be a hat, the way it's shaped. If it looked more like hair, then I could accept it.
