It seems to me the losing guild would be wiped out, or at least to an extent that there aren't very many of them left to be considered a guild.  So in game mechanics wise, the losing guild would be disbanded, or at least get changed to secret status as they have to go underground to regroup.

But what do I know.  Have fun with your war. You'll just walk for 5 minutes, come out of the death realm and start killing some more.  Seems death has lost its meaning.

Grrr... Wars are not much fun for those who are easily killed.:P

Especially those who hate training...:P

As far as how this ends.. we have a few ideas already in the pipeline!

It's worth pointing out ... that both guilds have respect for each other OOC... but IC.. there are good RP reasons for this war.

As for other guilds (Janner's Way, etc.) ... we'll go to war with you too but it means arranging a guild-leader stand-off of some sort to declare the war.

This war was agreed on because we have a great OOC relationship between guilds, especially considering we've become opposing guilds in-game.

@Janner... I very much doubt Janner's Way would accept war on two fronts... so implying there's anything wrong with the way we work is.. um... what's the word?!!!?  --- "hypocritical" seems a bit too strong... and I accept you guys don't really have a reason to need to be warring multiple guilds anyway!!

I'm not biting at ya though... just... there's a few reasons why we aren't warring with others at the same time... and a large part is because we haven't established a good relationship with you OOC... not yet at least... and that's all!... maybe we can have an OOC chat about it in-game sometime soon?!

---

So far this war is going pretty good... tit-for-tat and both sides seem to be evenly matched,

And Zhai.. sorry for accusing your char of being a spy.. I didn't realise you were taking screenies ;)

(of course my char doesn't know that and still is a little weary about your presence!!)

Anyway... most importantly... THANKS to Sapere Magi.. for a great war so far... having a lot of fun.  \\o//

Peace!!

[ First off this is RP]

A town guard arrives carrying a note.

Your guild is getting out of control, I please urge you to tighten the rains on your members, I have witnessed several incidents of late, and had reports of my members being harassed by your members, IF this continues my guild will not stand idle rest assured, we can and will fight, to keep a reasonable balance in this land.

 Hopefully Janner.

This is the note I spoke off, as yet no reply, as for your comments above, IF my gild acted in the same manner as the outlaws did, I would expect to be fighting on a lot more fronts than two.
Glad to help.

I think at the end of the day, the Outlaws held the arena. Am I right?

There's an IC reason, I see no problem... how would your characters react to this? How would you react? Take the path of your character.

The guardians will be neutral on this. Keeping our duties still, but if either side of you should attack us we will help the opposing force.

Anywyay... have fun with the war, and may you all die if you do prescripting.

Not all is as it seems, from the outside looking in, A war is not fought by blood and steel alone, nor by the casting of a great power. War is fought in the hearts and minds of those who choose to stand. War though a great ugliness is often the only voice that can be heard screaming in the stillness. A madnessness that shines upon the land a truth we dare not face. For reflected in the face of each warrior we see into our own soul. the waiting madness struggling to escape, as well the valiant hero who hold justice upright. War ends when its task has been completed, when the lessons have been burned into ourselves. Cleansing away all that which is unworthy leaving only balance.

This war however, is rp, it will have a beginning a middle and an end. I would not want better adversarys than the outlaws. A GREAT bunch by the way. I look forward to having a greaaat time. And a note on the death thing. since when did death ever hold any real meaning not in this game surely and the point is not death  but haveing a good time in game. both guilds agreed they would rather enjoy killing each other and since we are the ones  "dying" we get the spoils ;)
