Thanks Karyuu.

You're not a n00b as far as I'm concerned. You're 14 days "older" than me. :)

I'm afraid to look and see what my first post was...

Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

It is interesting to watch people change and see their opinions sometimes completely do a 180 over time.

Hehe.. I've done that a lot over the past year and a half.. Actually, last day of october.. Wow, it'll be two years this january.. Scary.

Karyuu, I've noticed this particular phenomenon first hand as well. It's interesting how quickly a view of someone can change after reading something as trivial as a registration date. I've often compared my posts as such, "Well I'm only 3 months older than this guy, and the differences between us are 'x', yet there's someone who is 2 years older than me that still acts like 'x-3'."

I guess we all just progress at different rates, at least as communication goes in a community. Some are much quicker to get their points across, and are subsequent to being more popular, while others may stay on the fringes of society for a couple of years and still be considered a newb. Internets is a strange place  ::|

lol, I try not to judge the person, rather only the content.

But hey we all get carried away at times.

And i'm not sure what to call myself, i can't say noob, but i'm definetly not a veteran. Any words you guys can think of?

Hehe... I vividly remember that crazy crystal lady Enki :D (laughed my ass off, because it kinda fit that time's Karyuu quite well :P)

Digging in the depth of the forums, I (re-)discovered my first posting here:

And I'm happy to see it's not entirely stupid ;)
The internet is "the terrorists'" most important weapon, they say.
Wrong.
Fear is their most important weapon.
Ours is our freedom.

awww cuute ^^

I remember back in January when I joined... my best psfriend teraukey and me met in the sewers and I learned him how to cast spells, that was the start of a great friendship where we were both noobies and knew nothing about rp'ing, only a bit about what it was and no idea this was a real rp'ing game. Now we're watching each other finish examns and such.

another person I've witnessed getting married ^^ and how his 13 year old brother came to stay with him.

edit: ROFFLE Uyaem xD

Pogo, I did that in january this year, when I discovered the date I actually started playing.. My post was a pretty generic newbie question XP

3) Click on last page (as of now, that's 27)
4) Very last post on that page is your first.

(Those are step by step link instructions btw, in case they don't look like links to you. (depends on what theme you are using)

@Seperot: Not only do you feel old. But you *are* old...in PS timeline at least.  ;)

Aside the 1337-ness and respect you earn with grey hairs (if not on your head, at least in the eyes of others), there is also a time when you realise that a new generation has grown up. A generation that you saw running between you legs, that you fed when they were ba-/new-bies. It's when they start talking with wisdom that you realise how old you are. :)

Not only do we spend time IC together, from annoying newbies to rambling oldbies. But if we shared some OOC personal friendship, it's weird to see how our lives have changed over time. Zanzibar was right (he should stop doing that, I'll get used to it) to remind us that we seldom see/know the real person behind the internet prism. There are only a few I was close enough to say I really knew them. All of them changed and too many departed.  :'(

It's a luck the oldest posts are not always made on the first day or on the same account. Moderators would be asked to remove them just in case they could be bumped.
