Welcome to the madhouse, sister.

Technically, you have to be another woman in order to call someone 'sister'. Otherwise it's like a white dude calling a black dude 'brother'... jus' don't work...

Yay, Donovan is the man. I have to look for Sunshine Super man now. I must hear it, well at least a clip of it. Also, bananas are great and all but nothing beats apples with peanut-butter.

:: Edit :: Ok maybe the whole thing, as I go on a Donovan watching marathon.

You can't deny she's beautiful, even when she's wierd :] Apparently the PS community has a tendency of catching beautiful and talented people all around the globe ;)

Why are weird people less likely to be beautiful? :(

I have noticed how when attractive women make their presence known on this forum, there's a strong reaction.  I worry that it makes other female posters feel excluded, or that it makes them less likely to be active in the community because they want to avoid that kind of attention.  I guess the planeshift community is just made up of a lot of geeks.

It's something that I've noticed has changed in the internet though.  When I first started posting on forums, we almost never had a picture of the person we were talking to.  We had to judge eachother by our words and works.  Now, especially with websites like myspace, it seems that the physical appearance of the other person takes precedence.  It's kind of unfortunate.

It's more realistic. Personally, I'd prefer the internet to be a way of projecting myself around the globe (y'know, in a non-conceited way :P), rather than simply hiding my face and trying to put on a false pretense.

If attractive people are treated better it's a problem with life, and people in general, not the internet.

And if women on here are really worried about being judged by their appearance, they always have the option of not posting a picture, or even not claiming to be female.

I want to get to know real people, not words and works... :P
