Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Why are weird people less likely to be beautiful? :(

I have noticed how when attractive women make their presence known on this forum, there's a strong reaction.

Well obviously. There's like 80 guys on this forum, and about 8 women. :P

And seeing as how about 6 of those women seem to be uninterested, it seems only natural that fresh meat would be pounced upon...

Also, what's 'geeky' about a bit of flirting? I always thought 'geeks' would be the type to wear star trek uniforms to school and panic at the sight of girls... (I put 'geeks' in inverted commas 'cause I'm not so sure there are people geniunely like that...)

Karyuu=8000 in 3 year
Emeraldfool=444 in little over a month

444times 36 (month) = more than 8000  :P

So if you were around as long as Karyuu you'd be the serial poster

Peacer get a haircut and grow some eyeballs  ;D

Who are you if you aren't your ideas and actions?

Also, what's 'geeky' about a bit of flirting?

Nothing.  It's just that every time a pretty face comes through, everyone goes "omg ur hot!".

Why are weird people less likely to be beautiful? :(

I think it is due to the fact that "weird" people tend to be excluded from society, so they become less interested in what they look like and reject society themselves.

When most of society is obese, and veganism is considered an alternative lifestyle, I'm not sure that you can get away with making that claim.

Fair-skinned: Racist and classist.  Women who had to work for a living tended to have tanned skin from being outdoors in the sun.  Fair skin was a sign of high class.

Karyuu wasn't saying that she liked Hentai.  She simply said that people are individuals.  (Personally, I think anyone who gets excited over that kind of stuff has a sickness.)

Innocent:  Again, this pushes the idea that attractive women should be both innocent and sex ready at the same time.  This is a very destructive idea for a few reasons -- mostly because of the expectations it encourages.

Maiden:  Idea of the ideal woman as helpless, innocent, unworldly, in need of (male) protection and saving.

Pish, that's crazy-talk!

Hmm, I smell a bit o' hypocrisy here. Why is it yer so protective of Ms. Karyuu, eh? It wouldn't be that she's smokin' hot, would it? :P

I don't think Karyuu was being attacked... it seems friendly to me.  I just like ripping apart posts.

Um.  I mean, I'm doing it in the name of equality, yeah!

Wierd people are more likely to send in wierd pictures which are less likely to be attractive.
I wasn't so much pointing to her wierdness being beautiful but her natural beauty.
And now when we've got that out of the world:

People are more likely to flirt on internet as we all know. This community is no exception.
