SilverWeave BA /3 ?

Hi,

I've just looted a SilverWeave BA after months of trying to get one and It turns out to be just a /3 ? Is that a 'Feature' on the game ?

I believe and was told, that this is due to a bug, its supposedly meant to be damage 13 but an error causes it to loop round at damage 10 and it ends up as damage 3. I may well be wrong on this.

If that's the case. Can it be rounded up to /10 by the devs or something like that ? At least 'till it's implemented correctly ?

The weapon slash system is a little odd indeed at the moment. The current 10 slash battle axe (not to be confused with small battle axes) is the iron battle axe. I think the highest slash a weapon can reach now technically is 10.9 slash. I there are 10.8 slash swords floating around. I guess that will be tweaked and fixed up soon(tm)

There will be no weapons with damage over 11 (10.something will be incredibly-mindboggling-rare). The bug is actually with the rest of the silverweaves, as they are supposed to be more mundane.

So you are telling me that my SW Axe will stay as /3 ? and things like SW Daggers will be below /3 ?

currently SW daggers are /7.5, I have an Iron Dagger that is /6, I have Trillarian Steel dagger that is /3.7 or something like that, my Iron SS is /8, my Sw SS is /10, ive seen Iron long swords at /8.8. when you -start talking about the new super fast but always miss weapons things start to get silly lol. the system seems a little screwed currently if what you say is accurate Karyuu

A lot of systems are screwed currently.  The Devs have a lot on their plates.

It'll end up being fixed when they have time, doubt it is high on the list.

We need a wipe to fix everything. Going through each weapon and fixing one by one isn't an option (there's thousands of combinations).

Won't a wipe hurt the game more than help?

I guess that's more of an opinion but i heard alot of members left after the last wipe.

There needs to be wipes, it may cause some players to leave but...well that's their fault

Wipes are necessary for the development of the game, players...not so much,

I think the sort of people who leave because of a wipe are the sort we're not too keen on keeping. They could be wonderful roleplayers and great people, but they also need to have the understanding that this is a game in heavy development, and wipes are unavoidable at such a stage.

Besides, the people who matter are those who stick around, regardless of technical difficulties.
