i have a bug on my metallurgy

have some1 get a message when they have theire book (woking with stock) equiped in mind and fully trainig in metallurgy that says that you dont know what is going to happend with your iron?

im sorry in advance for my bad english :)

i have a BUG too

i have make the harnquist quest and i've full trained my skill for metallurgy.. i've the book, i can produce molten Iron ORES and Iron Ingots.. BUT my skill not advance

i've molten 10/100/1000 iron ores and ingots but my metallurgy skill stay on "0"

I've try to remake the quest but nothing, harny propose me the quest for making swords... i try also to re-train.. but the response is the same. i cant train im all green :\

help me please :D

I have that same issue. I use a Mac and have talked to others who also use Macs and appear to have the same problem.

im on GNU/Linux Debian system..

i think that the problem is for Unix-Like filesystem types (Mac and GNU/Linux)

I have the same bug and I'm on windows XP. I can't seem to get practice points no matter what I do...


As for Traenor's problem: Are you sure you're sticking it in the right thing?

this morning i try on a Window$ client and the problem persists.

i'm sure that i've make all correctly.. i ask at a lot of players and the response is the same:"YOU ARE BUGGED"

help us please.. we want to be a metalworkers!! :D

maybe the bug/exception is on the player MYSQL table on the server, under the column "metallurgy"

Did you try to make also Iron Stocks (with more ores than Lingots, ask around for the number required)?

ok i've resolved.. thanks to Geemi ;) thanks to palsec too

iron stocks are the solution..

i'm really sorry, is not a BUG!!!

I have metallurgy up to 5 now and, from my experience, that is the error message that you get when you put in the wrong ingredients or number of them to produce a final product.  In some cases your skill may be too low, it can help to ask other players for information on this.  The one exception I have found is when making steel stock you are given that message, but when you follow the correct procedure you still get the finished product.
