You do realize that the 0.3.017 install for Windows has some technical problems at the moment that won't let you login to play? Check this for further info.

Aye, I stopped my seeding of it after I tried to run it and got the corruption message.  No sense seeding something that doesn't work.  Save the people bandwidth that are unfortunate to have thier download limits regulated as well.

too early to tell at the moment Gondric, just keep viewing the forums and the planeshift site for further updates.

Peacer, as I understand it, the new linux client is only available via bittorrent, too. If you can use bittorrent, here is the link (not yet updated on planeshift.it): http://laanx.fragnetics.com/bt/PlaneShift_CBV0.3.017.bin.torrent
