there's no point in placing a scheduled date for the mac release. between now and then is about as close as we can guess. The devs probably only have a vague idea themselves. That's the joy of devlopement - you have no idea what's going to happen from time to time
. Rememmber the devs (and mac dev/s) are under no compulsion to do anything. Just be thankful that someone has taken the time to compile a mac port of the game so let them take their sweet time and do a good job.
On a side note, what's happened to Cha0s? I've been a bit out of the loop myself but those updated status threads/posts don't seem to be updated all that frequently
and it would be rather nice if someone went around posting the link to the mac torrent file all over the forums so it's impossible to miss.
to actually answer you question from my limited experience it usually takes 3 or 4 days for the mac release to come out - usually 2 or 3 days after the windows and linux releases and anywhere up to and over a week when things don't go to plan. Who know's if all goes to plan maybe I can change that sometime next year if i have the time
