Problem when setting new pwd
« on: November 21, 2006, 08:27:22 pm »
Greetings PS cummunity, allow a question for a newbie.
Having lost the old password, and subsequently requested and obtained a new verification ID, I proceeded to enter a new password.

Upon entering the new password (twice), the password verification procedure (http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/processverifyaccount.php)  resulted in the following text.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your Account Has NOT Been Validated!!

Return to Account Registration
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The procedure has been repeated several times with the same outcome. I need help! ???
Marcus

*edit*

This actually worked: make sure that the mail client for the verification mail actually invokes the entire (!) link, not just the first line (up to the cr) and skips the rest...

Marcus

Try to avoid double-posting please. --Karyuu

Copy and paste the entire verification URL that you get in your email - it may be two lines long, so look carefully - and paste it into your browser. It should validate.

Also, please do not post the same problem multiple times for "attention." We read all posts made in this forum and we are not likely to miss anything.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.
