Hi all,
i tried to connect without luck.
Is the server down? Or are there new ports to add to my Firewall because the new Planeshift Server Version 3.0.17?

I'm just replying because in a different forum it seemed that people were saying that only french people couldn't get a connection to the servers... I'm not french (though that would be cool...) but both the "real" server and localhost say "failed." Don't know much to try after that, quite the n00b on this game. I'm using ubuntu. I'm excited to play a mmorpg on linux!

I guess you managed to update Yesterday and got an invalid servers.xml file. The file should be now fixed in mirrors and you should update again. If it still doesn't work, modify your data/servers.xml file manually and change the port number back to "7777".
