Well, dink smallwood is and has been one of my favorite games, and I was wondering if anyone else had played it. If not, http://www.rtsoft.com/dink/

Check it out, it's got swords, magic, roleplay, funny jokes, and Dmods! You can download add ons (think mods for the elder scrolls) and it has a creator tool (like the construction set). You can get Dmods at Dinknetwork.

It does have levelling and real time combat in it, but it's a real fun game with a lot of jokes in it and a very colourful plot.  The quest that it comes with was really well put together and it's just plain fun.  And there are countless other quests that you can download which fans have made using the creator tool.  It really is just an awesome game.

You do not have the option of playing it.  It is a requirement.

Yes I played that game a while back and beat it a few times. I then went on and played 2 or 3 mods and beat them. It was pretty fun. The only bad thing about the game is that it isn't multiplayer.

Wow, I've downloaded this game so many times over the years...and yet I never get further then about an hour or two in...

That first hour is pretty good though...

Why do you only play the game for an hour or two and then stop playing until you decide to download it again years later and start over?
