Then while waiting for one of the maps to load, I read that there was a game in one of the taverns. After searching both of the taverns that I know of, I was unable to find it. Am I on a wild groffel chase?

I also was wondering how one started roleplaying?
It helps to have a personality, behavior, and perhaps history of your character written out for yourself. It starts out as storytelling - who are you playing? What are their goals? Why are they here? After you have a character fleshed out, it's a matter of responding to your surroundings as your character. We do have a
guide to roleplay written by one of our community members if you're interested.
Sometimes when I try to talk to NPCs (Saying something like "Hello") I don't get any reply. Is it a bug?

Since I've been away for awhile, I just can't remember where I was with some of my quests. If I discard them can I start them over?
Definitely. You may not get a quest from an NPC every time you ask, because they have a lock-out sometimes. If you don't get anything the first time, try waiting a bit (an hour, perhaps a few) and try again.
Lastly, what should I fight after crackers? And what after that? (I can't think of an IC way to ask this ingame)
