Invisible windows and interface?

Hello, I have a problem  My windows and interface are like, see-through and I'm not sure how to cure it. When I log in, I can't see the buttons at the top (and no, it's not that my HUD is out of place because when I rollover near the top, the words of the various buttons appear and when I click, the window pops up, it's just the buttons are invisible)

my windows are see-through, meaning they do not block the game. If I press "I" for inventory I just see a box with items and my character in the middle. The rest is not there. It's really hard to explain, and I'm not sure what to do. Also, the music is crackly and the Hydlaa plaza tune sounds like it's slowed down for some reason.

If it matters (even though it sort of shouldnt), I'm on a Mac running a windows emulator called "Crossovers", running the windows version of planeshift. Much help would be greatly appreciated!

Any chance you can get a screenshot to better explain what you mean?

Right click the window, should have a transparency window pop up.  (depending on where you click, it sometimes doesn't. if it doesn't, try clicking somewhere else ad see if it pops up)  Lower the minimum transparency.  Push Ok.  If they are all like that, make sure to have it do the change to all windows.  There's a check mark option to tell it to do that.
