Neoconservative is not the same as Evangelical Christian, however the Neoconservative movement has exploited Evangelicalism for political power.

I disagree.  They have influence on world affairs, but that's not the same as controlling the world.

Influence ?

They control the wars, they control the banks, they control governments, not much influence there.

Edit: to add, Neocons, is but one of the names the ruling parties go by.

The Rockefellers and others have controlled the banks for hundreds of years.  Money changers have two thousand years of history leading up to the current state of affairs with banks.  The Neoconservative movement hasn't been around that long.

They don't control the wars except by the will of the people.  They use the media and the churches to sway the will of the people, but it isn't always a sure thing.

I watched the first video in the series.  It was interesting.  The speach by a 1976 Donald Rumsfeld about Soviet Russia felt identical to what he said about Iraq.  Too bad it wasn't aired by the major news networks four years ago.

This is a disturbing trend, that power is going from the hands of the people to the hands of the weapons dealer.

There are no more clear foes, so now they've made thier own.

China: May be evil but is one of our greatest allies when it comes to the economy and trading.
Japan: Stands right under us, with a strong booming economy that helps lift our own, our second most powerfull trading partner.
Russia: All up in shams, giving up it's dream of conquest no longer becoming a threat to America
Europe: Now united mostly, under currency and the E.U

With such a peace blossoming during the clinton administration the Neocons decided that they needed a change.

Thus making our new enemies:

Osama bin ladin and his cult
Sadam Hussein and Iraq
Iran(so called dreams of nuclear ambition)
North Korea(a crazed terrorist state with proven Nuclear Weapons)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The only state i consider a real threat is North Korea, But i wouldn't dare invade them becuase they pose no direct threat to us.
Why go around killing innocent people and bombing countries if you don't have to?
We live in an ever changing world my friends.
And Zanzibar is right, we haven't lost all power, and they don't control all the wars yet.
But now is the time to act, and the first step is to spread the Truth, Next comes action.
Take all you have learned here and spread it, then proceed to stop injustice as you see it happen.
The plan to invade Iraq was set in motion in the early 70's the plan was called "agenda 2000"
The world leaders are all but puppets today, they do as they are told, and no not by the people but by the orginazation of powerfull families.
The media is told what to say, the public is blinded by the truth.
This is an old view on the situation,
I saw the word "Illuminati" and I closed the window.  My opinion is that, while there are secret organizations out there consisting of people of influence, the problems by and large are systemic in nature.
Excuse me if I skip out of this thread.  Try to keep things from becoming political. :ban:
I saw that whole movie, nearly put me to sleep, of that old guy.
And i don't know what to say, i don't believe in these huge coverups, although i will admit there are some.
As for politics, lol yes, this is all politics.
A game the neocons are good at, and we're failing in.
One can't help but laugh when someone calls a country evil!  ;D
I suggest the statue of Laanx gets turned into a statue of Parallo <3. An NPC could never replace the huge hole he left in my heart when he died  :'(
Quote from: DeusEx
National Secessionist Force Trooper to UNATCO Anti-terrorist agent: "Fascist!"
NSF Leader says: "For a hundred years, there's been a conspiracy of plutocrats against ordinary people"
NSF Leader says: "The police, the shoot on sight laws, is that freedom?"
NSF Leader says: "Corporations are so big you don't even know who you work for... that's terror, terror built into the system"
Chad says: "When phrases like 'freedom from terrorism' and 'liberation from crime' are used... liberty and freedom lost all their meaning"
Paul Denton says: "...technophyles so crazed for power that they would not only wish to control our minds and actions, but the chemistry of our bodies as well"
From newspaper: "U.S. declares martial law"
Scary how much of that game resembles reality... and other things may become reality in the near future.
I call its political part as neofascism , its main tools are fear and doublespeak... Fear of an external or internal enemy always was used by dictatorships to justify their methods through propaganda. In nazi Germany, the jews and communists, and U.S, the "terrorists" and terrorists. Also it is incredible the resemblance between the Reichstag burning and the 09/11 WTC attack (Here is the whole article: http://blogcritics.org/archives/2005/08/01/090025.php )
And to finish... the oustanding symbols of the struggle of the US government to defend Democracy:
Patriot Act 1
Patriot Act 2 (Not sure if it was "approved" in the US Congress)
P.S.: Is complaining about words with both decent/informal/pejorative and not so decent means(bugger) a sign of Neocon?
I don't think he meant your post in particular, just that he realized the general tone the thread was following. I'm going to follow him out on this one. I have too little respect for opinions.
