Just saw this article on Wired news.  Every time I see another article like this I wonder a little more about the state of society in my country.

Sooner or later the people are going to have to stop demanding the government take care of them and coddle them all the time and start taking care of themselves.
I don't expect the government and some half-arsed thrown-together security fixes to keep my butt safe while traveling.  I accept it as one of the VERY SMALL risks of Air Travel.

This isn't quite as bad as the banning of liquids from aircrafts for fear they could be used to make binary explosives or nerve agents though... that was just stupid.

News flash! Almost every military in the world tells this to their troops but almost every government won't tell it to their citizens:

IF SOMEONE WANTS YOU DEAD AND THEY ARE WILLING TO DIE THEMSELVES TO PULL IT OFF, CHANCES ARE THEY ARE GOING TO FIND A WAY TO DO IT!!

I personally fully support this guy. If it wasnt for harmless people displaying the incredible lack of security in the airline industry then it would be left for terrorists to exploit and that would not be such a good thing.

a lot of my friends, even my mom thinks i should go to the government to get on that one thing where they pay you to stay at home if youse crazies enoughs. But i felt really about even thinking of that aas an option, cause thuohg my head is crazies...id be more of a nuisance to my fellow citizens than anything else *shrug*

and i was flying to see my mom during the summer and they took away my deodorant sad story.... i smelt bad when i got off the plane....blagh
