I'm finally leaving PS!

[insert long and detailed rant about disillusionment in the community]

I know you people don't care, so I'm not going to post all the reasons behind my leaving. If, by any chance, you do care, I'm posting my contact information below for people who still want to hang out and chat and what-not.

I didn't even want to make this thread, but I thought I owed it to myself as I'm not a huge thread-starter. You'll notice I killed Phinehas off in the RP board, for those who care to take a look.

Mmm... no, unfortunately this isn't hibernation. I've killed Phinehas, and as anyone who knows me well knows, he's my precioussss... It is possible that I may drop by in a year to see if anything's changed, but I'm starting college soon, so I won't have time to re-add Planeshift to whatever hobbies I've acquired in the meantime.

If Phinehas was as powerful as he claimed it would not surprise me to find out that while his body was destroyed his spirit found a way to "ride the magic scree" and find a way to harness the magics of whatever plane of existence he winds up in to make his way back better than new. I also would not be surprised if he didn't.

  Farewell to you Phinehas, I will actually miss your arguments because unlike some in this forum you usually have a good reason for debate and your points of view always seem to make sense even if I don't agree with some of them. I am saddened I never got to actually meet your character though. I wish you good luck in your college year and see you in a years time if you feel so inclined to stop in and visit us planeshifters.

I don't think i've ever had any back and forth communication with you at all, but i've enjoyed your posts.  For the most part, i found them to be insightful and witty.  As such, I would regret having never said anything to you, so I thank you for improving the voice of the PS community, and I wish you all the best in school and life afterwards.

Too bad... Now who will show what is wrong with what I write at the "Communitive Storywriting" forum?
Criticism sometimes helps one to improve his works and deeds.
And "Phinehas" could be put in a dictionary as synonymous of "Critic"... or of "Ironic".
I hope that once you come again this community will have less or no "leets".

I'm sorry to see you leave Phinehas just as I felt I was getting to know you a little, but one shouldn't play a game that one doesn't enjoy so I wish you the best and hope your other hobies give you the joy you have found missing in PS.
