Plural of Tria

Is it the plural of a Tria "Tria" like on www.planeshift.it

It would be my opinion that Tria sounds better and I'd be more inclined to trust the settings pages on matters like this than what it says in game.

IMHO it should be "tria" as in "a million tria" or "i have many tria", rather than "gee lookit all the trias". I have been avoiding correcting people on this one...

I say Tria, Talad usually says Trias. :P Grammatically, Tria is correct. But who can argue against a God? Maybe a question for the Q&A?

the answer is: whatever the community develops as in game words, like real life words evolve\change meaning due to social changes and other life-type things. So current the plural of tria is both: tria and trias.

Well, im not native english, but afaik one says "i have 100 dollars" to indicate that he has 100 1-dollar-units (um...sounds dull...). Whereas "i have 100 dollar" just means the same amount of money in any denomination (?).

So "100 trias" are just 100 of those little triangular thingies,
and "100 tria" is worth 100 trias, but can consist of hexas and/or octas.

Hope you know what i mean...
just correct me if i am wrong

i usually say tria, it sounds plural to me..like i have 20 tria...i dunnos :P  :flowers:

I partially second the opinion of Lithox: One is the amount of coins, another is the value...

But I bet many players have worse problems than that.

100 Yen. Not 100 Yens.

Same with Tria. The structure of the word is what decides on the plural form, you don't just stick an extra 's' on the end :)

But whatever, Tria or Trias, people will understand you :)

hmm I use tria and seems to be used the most aswell. Trias might work aswell but somehow sounds artificially  specially seeing it should be triaas to get the in my eyes right prnounciation, but thats personal taste I guess ;)
