\"Jerkeen\" if I recall correctly.

Palindrome is a funny word but it describes funny words like radar and level that are spelled the same forward and backward.   Sometimes phrases or sentences can be made that way:

# A man, a plan, a canal: Panama!
# A man, a pain, a mania: Panama!
# Are poets a waste? Opera!
# Never odd or even.
# I prefer pi.
# Oh, cameras are macho.
# Drab as a fool, aloof as a bard.
# Go deliver a dare, vile dog.
# Wet sanitary rat in a stew.
# Lepers repel.
# Too hot to hoot.

Skcolob

I started using this word 4 years ago when I worked in PC World for a bit.  Customers would come in and ask a question like where are your printers and I would reply:

\"You will find them over there by the Skcolob\".

And I would point to one of my colleges.

Alhana thinks for a second
Hmm... that might be why I got fired too  :P

I would pay you $50.00 to see you watch it and yes ACTUALLY watch it. No bathroom breaks...you\'d have to pause the movie if you needed to heed the call of nature. You cannot speak with anyone on the phone to distract you, you have to wear your contacts, oh and just as extra security your neice wants to come watch it with you and make sure you actually watch it. :p

I like the word Lugubrius (sp?)  It means characterized by sad behaviour, ridiculously so.  Incidentaly, it\'s hard to stay lugubrius after saying it...

@Jinkeen: Note the Weird Al song \"Bob\" which is nothing but a series of bizaare (another funny word) palindromes.

I apologize for my atrocious spelling, but I should be in bed now, not posting messages on the forums...

best word without a doubt ever is:

\"grotesque\"

Just has a certain ring to it, and the meaning is awesome.
There are two types of people in this world: The Pinky and the Brain.
Which one are you?

I forgot my personal favorite word... Shmuck...  It doesn\'t matter who you are, how much I love or hate you, you\'re almost guaranteed to be called a shmuck by me at least once.  Also Centauri is amusing.

Noticed on moving to Pittsburgh Pa. in the states the word
Yenz
Yeah, that\'s how you know someone is from Pittsburgh Pa. In the states.
For instance, \'How Yenz  doin today?\'
Pittsburgh is the only place I have heard the word used on a regular basis. There are other such words as Red-up...meaning to clean the house and Jumbo...refuring to bologna. All kinds of strange vanacularatory stuff here. Not to mention thier own form of ebonics. :D
It\'s like Gotham on Crack, I love it.

I thought of one that makes me laughs every time :D

Nirple <--- as far as I know and according to the dictonary I checked with this is not a real word.

[Edit] Here is some more I found......

Scrimshaw  <---- The art of carving or incising intricate designs on whalebone or whale ivory.
SWIZZLE  <---- any of various tall frothy mixed drinks made usually of rum and lime juice and sugar shaken with ice.
Mugwump <----- A person who acts independently or remains neutral, especially in politics.
Handfast <---- To pledge; to bind; to betroth by joining hands, in order to cohabitation, before the celebration of marriage.
