I\'ve had a terrible time finding games compatible with the Radeon, will Planeshift utilize this moster of a video card?

That\'s because ATI and ATI\'s support sucks, I think it\'s more about ATI\'s support for Open GL then it is about Planeshift support for the 9700.

Well Link, you are likely right (I agree with you, Linux drivers for ATI are SAD! can\'t comment about Winblows) but the question was not \"How are the ATI drivers?\" or \"What do you think of ATI?\" but will it work with PS.  It does little good telling some one their card is bad when they already bought it. Do you have some first hand burns from ATI\'s drivers/support? (Just curious)

to Dirk:
I think the best place to find that information is at http://crystal.sourceforge.net/drupal/ , the makes of the engine. There was a news update about 2 months ago that ATI sent them 2 128M cards for use in developement (thats why they have the ATI ad there on the side i believe) so I assume that the engine works with ATI, but e-mail them to be sure.
Hope that helps.
