Given quest that has already been completed?

Some time after completing Levrus' first two quests (Ring and Ore), I again asked him for a quest and was offered one which suspiciously sounded similar to the first.  I accepted, and was surprised to find it was the first, even though I was presently wearing the ring.  Checking my quest list, I found it had been removed from the completed list, and moved to incompleted.  Is there a way to resolve this bug without having to repeat.  Not only would this be a nusance, but it would require a redo of Trasok's first quest.  And then, would Levrus' second quest also have to be done again?   Just want to get back in sync.  Any ideas?

it isn't a bug it is a feature. they will do that, give you the same quest again. but you can drop it and try again if you want.

There are instances where this feature easily qualifies as a bug.

I recently was (with much effort) able to replace a lost item for some NPC only to find out that 10 seconds later he had lost it again. This is a problem because it seems now that I cannot acquire such a replacement item a second time because I don't get the necessary initial quest a second time.

Now this NPC won't give me a follow up quest (at least he did not after I tried to discard the replacement quests he gave me and asked him for another quest for several days now) and I can't solve the replacement quest because I don't get the quest again which leads to another replacement item -> deadlock 

  Now tell me this is not a bug...

this is a feature. it was deliberatly considered and implemented.

If you want to get follow up quest don't just ask for a quest. When you completed the first quest the NPC told you what you have to ask for.
Also the NPC will give you the first quest again.

Or you can be slow on the take and do the holy script quest 28 times in a row.    
All this time I thought it was a bug in the quest counting code.

It would be nice if the quest diologue was automatically stored in the quest notes section for ready access. While entering in your own details of the quest in this field can be considered more realistic, it just seems annoying to me.  I suppose I could link the chat history file and the quest note file (whatever it might be) and just copy/paste but that seems to be a hack for something that could easily be implimented.

I understand all that is being said, but why would it have been removed from "completed quests" and why am I unable to summon.  A "bug", by any other name, ...

Also, if there's a third or fourth quest to be offered by Levrus, I fear they might never be offered.  Thanks all.

So when you know quest of how to get a glyph, you can do it over and over again and everytime sell it to other players for 50k tria? Really a bug and a walkaround to other bugs.
