Bag Bug

Apparently there is some sort of bug with sacks.  I was at the iron mining site just outside Hydlaa and i was putting stuff in my sack, when all of a sudden, my sack falls on the ground and I am then unable to pick it back up.  Shortly after that, the server boots me.  I come back on the path before exiting Hydlaa, but my sack and everything I put in it is gone.  I go back to mine site and my sack is there, but I die trying to get to it (falling bug).  I return again but my sack is gone - probably picked up by a very happy player, as it contained some quest items (ancient sword, etc), 8 diamond crystals, 2 long swords, about 8 tefusung hides, 16 rat eyes, leather legs, leather chest, some various teeth and claws.  There was probably other stuff, but I can't remember it all.

Any chance I could get this back?

Sorry about that but GMs and Devs cant replace lost items. I know it sucks and I do feel for you but it isnt even  yet

I figured as much, but I still cried - took me a long time to get all that stuff, and now I have to walk across the world to restart those quests

sorry A, but ig, and I, are simply volenteer advisors, or (scratches head) atleast I think I've seen ig on the advisor channel, but the Devs have already staighted they cannot replace items, it's a chance of fraud, with very valuable items still in game (although THANK YOU DEVS all my items were erased, 3 years ago or anywhere inbetween because I was inactive, but sad to say you'll get over it) all the devs can do is say, "We're sorry", and even that isn't enough, so, I would suggest, sticking to getting items that will still be in LIVE edition when planeshift is finally released, rumours are, Beta edition isn't far away, but that still doesn't amount for your lose, so, for Devs and Adsivors alike, we're sorry, we sadly can't replace it, advisors are very limited, and devs, on the safe side, can't replace replace them either... so, we're sorry for your lose, but please, continue to play, after all you're still an alpha tester, you're in the beginning stages, and look at this way, this game has been in alpha stages, since it began, atleast 4 years ago, so you can assure yourself, it's going to be better then WoW, so your frustrations in the end. . . will. . . be worth it. I should point out, if it isn't known, there IS a bug with sacks, and generally with calculating weight carried by the character.  I could take items and put them in a sack, and my weight would decrease, which I don't think should happen.  If I was carrying close to my max and tried to move my sack (or any item that would exceed my max if I were to try to pick up a new one) to another slot, it would fail, saying that I can;t carry anymore.    Doesn;t make any sense, since I am already carrying it.

I haven't done a search, so perhaps this is a known issue.

I tried to solve this problem before, by figuring out how much a sack holds, but sadly no one knows.

And when you overstuff a sack, suddenly all the wait hits you, and your items drop from you inventory.

It's a big pain, i know, so i buy extra sacks and i underfill them.

Actually A, that is a very well known glitch, alot of people exploit it, I personally, try to keep count of the numbers my sack can carry, to avoid exploiting the glitch, although sometimes I go over, my max weight and my sack can still carry it, and in actuality, the sac is carried at the waist which is closer to your legs, the closer to your legs, the item is, the more weight you can carry, however as I staighted I try not to go more then "5lbs" over my max weight, sometimes it happens, because my leather sac is where I put all my gold, and a single nugget, of anything, is 6lbs, so sometimes on accident because Im zoned, because mining takes so long, I got 4-5 lbs over weight, depending on the swords I also put in it, so, the glitch, yes, is very well known, and has been reported to several volenteer advisors, to my own knowledge, I myself, from speculation, since they've "been reported" don't wish to bother the devs, as an advisor my job is to take the stress of the devs, so that they can continue to get this game into beta, and thereof after...

ok Dat is obviously a GM because he was able to delete my post towards, him, or atleast whomever the dev was that deleted it and is monitoring this forum post, please pm me, because I also have a question but as an advisor I need to as kthe GMs directly, dat, I do stack alot of items, because I am able to kill the Brigand and the closest rogue no problem, as a matter of fact I wont lie, I use two Silver Falchions or a single Silver Falchion and a Reinforced Short Sword, to kill them, all other weapons, I stack, in my sac, atleast untill I get a SilverWeave, at which points I've already got a plan for it, I wont be using it till I get 4 SilverWeave SS's, and which point I'll  be giving the other 4 silverweave ss's to my "wife" and another 4 to my "sister" and which point I'll sell the rest I get, btw for players whom look for them I know how unfair the prices are, and I am in Dark Empire, we exceed at repairs, sooooo, you buy the repair kits, and I will be selling for only 20k, per SillverWeave, but I do sooooo like killing the brigand and rogue nearest him, they get me alot of daggers ss bs ls silver falchions and such, so yes, previos staightment is correct, I stack alot of items

Datruth isnt a GM. If you look at your post you will see that Karyuu merged your posts because you should have used the modify buton rather than make a second post directly after your 1st.

Karyuu bro, why the hell didn't you tell me you knew the forums more then me? I know for a fact, you're on my BL, but that's because of ANOTHER reason outside of Advising, however my question is this, I have for the last. 7 hours, beem attempting to reconnect to the server, I then reformatted, at about 9:31pm PST, got done at about 10:21pm PST, ever since I haven't been about to reconnect to the server, and it is 3:05AM !!! !!! !! ! now is it the fragnetics server, or my pc?
