Updater crashes with ui and without UI

Also when I execute the following command I get a seg fault.

Output of "./updater -auto" looks OK. Look ->there for info regarding update of updater.
Updater with UI apparently has problems with shaders, check if You have any older version of Crystal Space installed on Your system (and uninstall it), unset environmental variable CRYSTAL before starting updater.

Actually I've tried to reinstall the entire game and it fails for me on the last couple of steps... None of the binary files are created, but a bunch of stuff does seem to get installed.
