A call to arms OOC thread

personally I think that the final battle should be the slavers against enki, this doesn't mean that other races can't input by rp'ing thier support.

Does this mean that if one showed up and saw people fighting for beliefs which one shared they should go OOC and pretend they didn't see it for the sake of a more convienent battle? I know there are characters that would either become enthralled by the group mentality of the encounter or just fight for what they believed. These people would be OOC by not joining in. Setting these unrealistic OOC boundaries does not help the quality of the RP. A 'cool' dramatic face off between the two sides may be more convienent for both sides but its unrealistic and highly improbable.

I am too. With critique he may become better at it and then we all have more reason to be proud of him. I just don't like to pad up my words to save from the blow as it distracts from the content. I like pointing out when something is not right. I am in no way trying to be a [insert dirty word] about it. You'll be grateful when you take part in the next event by Gharan which through this will quite probably be better.

[As Blayze stated the meeting to form a guild to hunt down the DL will be now Saturday instead of Sunday, That gives them time to organise, Also as stated anyone joining the Enki side either post here or preferably RP it in-game.]

just had 2 players say you moved the rp to today.. but i proved them wrong by the forums.. and since niether of the rp startes were online.. ANYWAY..

is the battle still the 21st and the metting today.. or was the battle infact moved to today.. OR.. was the battle moved to the 20th? hope its not the 20th.. thats the day of my raffle event.. WHICH was started before the end of the salver rp began 21st would be best as it suits the raffle as well a big day of party before a hugfe battle that some may not live after?  just a suggestion..

Well.. there are certain people in this who would have loved to kill us and free a slave but if they died just simply refused to be one, we had enough against us without people like that so I didn't want them in the rp neither did my guild. We had a meeting set for next saturday for the Enki to discuss what they would do and probably make a guild. Alliva took it upon himself to go round shouting the meeting was today not next week, he also states they will either group or just form alliances. group wont work for such a battle and there will be people in the alliances who are out the RP for the reason i mentioned, I assumed after talking to blayze a guild would be formed and it's the only way i see this working. After discussion with my guild we believe cancelling it until we know where we stand is the best idea unless anyone has any better ideas?

This was posted on Fri. the 12th, one would think that would mean the next Saturday in sequence, apparently not. 
Perhaps in the future you should post the date as well as the day of the week so as not to cause confusion.

Yes I admit we did make a mistake there but I think Blayze stated the date in his post i'll have to check, but grouping to war is pointless and that's what Alliva is calling for, either that or alliances but certain people can't fight which means all that is left is to form a guild which may I add was the whole point of the meeting in the first place, If you can't leave your guild for any reason then i'm sorry but you will not be able to fight for the obvious reason that its guild vs guild.

Can I also add it was decided on a one day thing to seem more real rather than a week long war that peope die 20 times in, and so people can quickly be re-guilded afterward.

Okay having spoke to Blayze, who btw will head the guild we came to an arrangement for a war that will be one day only. Blayze already called a meeting in an attempt to end the Dermorians and there has been a little confusion so just to clarify the meeting is on Saturday the 20th at 22PM GMT. He will form all those willing into a guild and will organise them. The war will take place on Sunday the 21st at 20PM GMT

The rules as agreed by both leaders are as follows:

The battle will take place in Ojaveda in akkaido east.
Any weapons are allowed
Healing potions are allowed
Magic is allowed

No other form of potions will be used or stat raising weapons.

This battle will be fought in 3 fights and this what was agreed.

The first will be a full fight basically everyone.
The second will be one on one until one guild is left standing.

If after two rounds one guild has won both they win if not it goes to a finale.

The finale if needed will be 3 on 3

I hope anyone taking part is happy with the rules we have set we felt they needed to be done and posted to avoid anymore confusion.

HOW can your prevent someone from using such items.. unless you plan on asking a gm to check players before,during, and after.. true its spose to be ic rules.. but its also ooc rules.. WHICH some.. MIGHT not wish to follow.. as it would be very much ic for the DL to use pots and boosters to give them the edge.. who knows

also.. Gharan as agreed to combining our 2 events.. since they can easly be molded into 1 event my event is the day before 20th.. check my sig for the link to the thread.

and we should believe that :p, you've said it before and yet you're still here , soon I'll meet someone who wants to battle me, we're standing still then all of a sudden I'm dead and you're in front of me xP.

as for getting more people, you could have posted it here, rules and stuff. But not make it happen in front of harnquist >.<. make it take place in the backalleys and ask people to restrict the knowledge IC'ly so you don't know them before you're there, only OOC.
In these alleys, recruit people, forcerecruit people and you should get quite an army in the end.
