Waterfall City (still) not reachable

Since Waterfall City may it's appearance into the wonderful world of PlaneShift, I can't go there.
The infamous "black earth" prevents me from seeing where to go.

Since then, many periodical updates passed, including a major one (new client) and still, I can't go there.
So far, I've removed version.dat and ran ./updater, I removed psc and ran ./updater but no succes ...

Am I the only one or is this still a problem which needs to be fixed?

I think i'm not 100% but i think this is your answer. Try reading sticky posts 

Many are crashing in the bronze doors level due to the new particles system not working properly on some cards (including mine!!).

If you want to load that level, I've created a version totally without particles, so you miss the waterfall, the smoke, the torches, etc... But at least it should not crash.

Get it here. Remember that the updater is not aware of this level, so it will probably overwrite it.

I think I've got the same problem as the first poster which doesn't have to do something with the particle-crash, it rather is a lighting/texture-thing but I'll try the "fix"-map and post back.

I have got this Problem too, but the last time i visited this place is maybe 2 months ago.
I am owning a Nvidia Geforce 4 go 6600.

It's not just you Thed, it happens to me after each update as well.....the relight fix in Peeg's post halfway down this thread works though.

I know you want a permanent fix, but for the others posting here with the same problem this fix should help.
