Error when logging in.

When ever my friend logs in it says server where it normaly says fragnetic says local host and then it says failed...
what should he do about this problem

im not a tech person, but id sugest the friend checks his ports, so that the right port is open.

if hes got a router he might need to fiddle with that

The server will remain in enhanced crash mode for some time. Occupy yourselves with something that adds to the community. 

I'm not a tech person either, but I suggest, you'd better try Psilome's sugesstion tomorrow.

I think the problem is that your servers.xml file instead of having the Fragnetics server entry has just the localhost one.
Did you build it yourself?

isn't the servers.xml updated when the updater is run?

true, but what if the file didn't update or the version in the updater is not correct?
