Hi every body, first to say that you made a great game  :thumbup:

I want to make my own mmorpg game too , and lloking around i tryed these because is the best that i finded :detective:

The problem is that i cannot download the source from anywhere  ???

I go to " http://www.planeshift.it/download.html " and i go to  " source code " , then the page redirect to
 " http://www.planeshift.it/sources.html " , then i clic on " http://sourceforge.net/projects/planeshift " then i clic on the download button and the to planeshift-win32 download .. then it goes to " http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=8351&use_mirror=puzzle&filename=PS_readme.html&13080207 " and afther all these it goes to " http://puzzle.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/planeshift/PS_readme.html " and then to " http://www.planeshift.it/download.html "

Thats crazy  :@#\   and if you saw , the first link  ( http://www.planeshift.it/download.html ) is teh same as the final link that i get .. ( i put them into so u shall see them without any problems )  :devil:

So , can anyone tell my  how can i get the source code please? ..   >:(

Odd, on my screen the page clearly explains that there is a compiling guide.

I never downloaded the scourcecode, so I can't help you with that.

By the way, do you realise that, even if you have all the skills it takes to make your own 3D MMORPG, it will take several years to develop only the basic features. Remember that planeshift 3d is in developement since 2000 (if I'm correct) and there is a whole team of skilled people working at it. Take it as a reference and estimate your chances. Creating a MMORPG is a huge undertaking. I doubt anyone can make one on his own.

A yes, I remember. Maybe she was helped by a devine intervention, because she developed it with a noble goal.  :innocent:

Creating good art, settings and gameplay us much harder than most people think. It's not just "grabbing the code", smack some textures against it and the MMO is done! It requires great effort. :)
