Sever Failed A Lot?

for the past couple hours i've been waiting for it to do something but if just sits there and says failed. this is the first time i've played this game in a very long time and this has never happened to me before. so my question is does this happen a lot or is it just me?

The server is down at the moment for an update. It may be down for the entire day and a bit into tomorrow, but we're going to try to get it back up ASAP as always.

Can't wait to play again.  Last night was my first time, and I had a blast meeting people and learning the game.

On the serious note, this better be some serious updates, it's never been down this long in my 4 months of being back  :'( :'( :'(

Ehh it's not been down *that* long yet ... and it'll be back up when it'll be back up.

P.S.: whenever they say it'll be down for 'that long' .. it's usually safest to add a day or more and that'll probably be the real date :P No offence to Kary but that's just how it goes, unexpected things always, always pop up when you don't need them.

This game is addictive, so its hard when its down but hopefully there is more to play with when it comes back up  ;D

It usually takes at least a day, but that's being optimistic :) Within the week you should be able to use the updater.

Once you have created your character, there is no way to change the base appearance (skin, hair, eyes, etc.) - if you want changes, you will have to recreate your avatar.
