New stuff in new version

Is there some sort of guide or instructions to go along with the new version?  I got into it for a little bit but could not find the mapping.  Does anyone know how to get to it, or is it a game element - like you have to buy parchment and traing in cartography.

Also, is there a way into winch?  I saw a lot of people standing around there, but that was about it.

Nobody will give any straight answers .. it's up to the players to find these things out. Then they're free to share their knowledge in-game.

I doubt that any of the players have the answers so far.

How to use the map feature isn't a spoiler.  That's part of the user interface.  The same as telling someone how to use the guild functions.

As for an answer on how to use it, sorry, no clue.  Umm, experiment?

  - Added ability to add icons (+)
  - Added ability to change icons from a downloaded list (PgDn/PgUp)
  - Added ability to move objects with arrow keys 1 pixel at a time
  - Added table character_limitations to list which icons are available to which players.
    Right now all icons come to all users and all users can edit the sketch.

Hold, on so we actually draw the maps ourselves? Awesome. I thought it was just a matter of walking around spamming the 'update map' button and it'll draw itself.

Maybe secret messages and pamphlets are coming earlier than we expected...
