Can't install

Hi, I'm very new to the game I only just heard of it recently, I got all excited and downloaded it (3.017 that is.) and of course, the mirrors failed in the update and the server failed every time, I just got 3.018 today, thinking it would work, but when I try to install it multiple things pop up during installation with the "Abort, Retry, Ignore" buttons. I've tried downloading with both Bittorrent and multiple mirros, nothing seems to work. It's an unfriendly error, and I'm wondering if I'm doing anything wrong? Help would be much appreciated.


EDIT - Fixed the problem by restarting my computer.

Install BitTorrent
Download the .torrent file for Windows
Doubleclick on it so that it opens with BitTorrent.
Wait until BitTorrent is finished with downloading.
Install Planeshift.
Try to connect.

Make sure you follow those guidelines. If you still get a crash/error, please post what the error is, the error adress/number and try to upload the dump file.

Thanks for the help, I tried that actually. My problem was actually quite stupid, I forgot to restart my computer after I uninstalled 3.017 x_X It's all better I'm logging in now!
