The Ruby Hunt.... all my rubies are gone....

I just found out that the wipe got rid of all my rubies from the crystal hunt.  Hundreds and hundreds.

"Certain Items" were wiped, but why the rubies?  No one in their right mind would duplicate those, and they were available by the thousands during the crystal hunt.

perhaps they wiped them because people collected 1000's and thusly they (devs) gave them no sell value, so no one could get rich quick.

Now with them all gone and the only way to get them is to go search for them, they can be given some type of sell value, and be used for things.

Just a guess.

Any stack of items over i think 2 got wiped i dont know about what exact items got wiped but most items got maxed at 2 in a stack. [max in a stack now is 64 or was that 65? independent of the wipe]

Who thought up the over-2 got wiped thing? You could've just duped your silverweave once and had two of them - two hard-hitting weapons - and they weren't wiped.

Had to make a cutoff somewhere.  2 is much nicer than 100.

Well, you just made a "guess" on why rubies were wiped. I think he'd rather hear an official reason before the thread's locked.

I didn't lose any potions or mushrooms so it was not all stacks of >2

By the way I found two rubies behind a Hydlaa establishment, do these look familiar?
