Geographical names

As I was walking along in the game I knoticed a butt load of phisical features in between the various cities. I was wondering have any of the mountains, hills, passes, rivers, canyons,  ect... been named and If so can you give a message so I can learn them or help name a few!!!?

the one that i can think of off hand is just outside of oja.

some call it the oja volcano, but perhaps the better name is the oja mesa. mostly since volcanos don't exsist in yliakium.

As far as I know there are a few things that have names .. examples being the Irifon river, the river that you cross to go to Ojaveda. Just before that you have the Korogan pass, which is the tunnel that connects Ojaroad1 with Ojaroad2. Then there are of course the city sections: East Hydlaa, Upper Hydlaa, Hydlaa Plaza and the Ojaveda merchant district & Ojaveda warehouse district with the Utlics (tent camps) and last but not least the Bronze Doors Fortress.

Most of the other areas have been given less original names like the Ruins, the Stone Face, the Bronze Doors mine and the Magic Shop.

If you take time to talk to NPC's or read some books at Jayose (not sure if those books are back already though) you'd be surprised what you can learn.

P.S.: If I'm mistaken with anything or forgot something please correct me or add things

The only places I know of are Korogan Pass (if it's called that??) and the Irifon...

EDIT: and now I've posted this... I see Zan already covered this. (sorry... not quite "with it" today!)

Ah well... seeing as though I've soiled this thread with one of my posts.. I might as well pretend there's a geographical feature called Eroc's Rock... if it wasn't for my signature I'm sure someone would have fell for it.

I believe its Korogan's Pass, not Korogan pass. Apart from that there's Parallo hill, Parallo Rock, Parallo Castle, Parallo Lake Etc. Etc....

Why didn't anybody mention the Great Windowless Tower? That's the coolest name we have for anything here! 

Anyways, he's some names for things I have:

Ruined town in the bronze door region: Mining Town
Big crack in BD region: The Crack
Lake along BD road2: Lake Simongarfunkel (Not original I know)

The Great Windowless Tower is actually called The Obelisk, if I recall correctly :]

Those things are so cheap... Especially with a stealth generator cloaking them



Anyway, geographical regions should be named by the explorer's guild, or something like that. Unofficially at first, until it becomes unanimous. That's how it works in real life...

I think a thread such as this one would be the best place for everone, not just a guild, to put there ideals in to be voted on by the overall public. For example I like to call the group of mountains just outside of Hydlaa the three eye snake range but other might think of something else!
