Server Problems

Hi everyone I just started playing this and I downloaded and installed PS (windows) and got the new update but as soon as the update was done the server failed.  Ive checked everywhere read every article I could find and followed the "what to do if u cannot connect" page and it still doesn't work.  I would really like to start playing today if anyone could help that would be very nice.

The updater is not updated yet please reinstall and dont run the updater

Ok strange because before the update nothing worked in game and most of the character skins were not working and the update said it fixed those.

Are you running version 0.3.018 of the client?

If the character skins weren't showing, it could be because of your graphics drivers.

I am using ver. 0.3.018 and I'm using a ATI radeon x1300.  There should be no problems with the drivers because I can play any other game I have installed.  (and yes other mmos ive downloaded)

Alright, gotcha :]

Can you look back to my first question? Also if you have run the updater after installing the game, there's a chance that might have caused some issues. Can you try uninstalling the game entirely (make sure there's no folders left behind) and reinstalling, without running the updater this time?

Ill try that though I did start to play before the new update got released and was able to get into and play the game.  But then it had all the problems Ive been seeing in the "in game" forum.

*edit*

Ok reinstalled and the game connects but the original problem occurs.  Almost all the female textures arer the same and the fish people dont even have a female skin.  The skills are not there and etc.

Not all the character models are available yet, so some are being used in place of others right now. This is no longer a technical problem :]

Female textures are actually the same, and same with the Klyros. We don't have all the character models yet.

The skills not being there is a bug with the new version - newly created characters have no skills despite the events you choose.


And just out of interest, where did you come up with the name 'KourYuu'? :P

Well theres a huge story behind all of that but I cant just go around and telling people about it.  My friend pretty much got locked up in a mental house because of it.  But for the name I can make really simple.  Its japanese for ultamate dragon and Im japanese and I like dragons so it all works out.

Oh? I'm a psychology buff, there's not much that could shock me   ;) (I've heard some real crazy stuff)
